We are building a big 3D sand printer that we will ship to Egypt, to the International FabLab Conference. We are doing this with a multi-disciplinary team of students.
This multi-disciplinary team of HRO students is building a 3D sand printer that will be shipped to Egypt for the International FabLab Conference (FAB15). In El Gouna, they will print with a mixture of desert sand and starch. The aim is to 3D print sculptures that can be fully degraded and upcycled after a few days. The printer is a continuous project that will be used as a research tool by different departments of HRO.
