Waste Awareness Jewellery.
Showing your personal plastic waste quantity and its potentials.
I designed a brooch that is connected to a sensor. The sensor counts your waste and shows it on your brooch. I designed this because people use too much plastic, an average of 9 pieces of plastic packaging a day, that’s more than 3000 a year. Most people are not aware of this. How much plastic do you throw away every day?
The second project is jewelry made from collected and recycled plastic waste. I shred the collected waste and press it together. After that, I shape it with the laser cutter, or by hand, into wearable waste.
